First I chose a picture of bowling. Then I created a Mosaic filter with a cell size of 8, applied a Find Edges filter and a median filter with a radius of 2 pixels. I selected the Magic Wand tool and used a tolerance of 8 to select the white area and inverse it. Then I applied another Median filter but with a radius of 3. I deselected everything, used Auto Levels, and inverted the image. Then i duplicated the layer and changed the blending mode to overlay and merged the layers together. I then duplicated the layer again and changed the blending mode of that layer to Screen. I applied and Find Edges filter, inverted the layer and added a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer to change the colouring to green.
This effect has a lot of steps and takes a while but is also very easy. As long as you follow the steps properly it will turn out well. This would work for all kinds of people with all kinds of skill levels because even though it looks long and complicated it actually just uses a bunch of preset filters in a certain combination.
